| DOUBLED-SHREDDED vs. TRIPLE-SHREDDED |
| |
Triple shredded mulch is a darker and richer in color. The appearance is slightly more even when distributed over your flowerbeds or gardens. Double shredded mulch works nicely. Mr. Mulch recommends triple shredded for a the best appearance. All of our premiums are now triple shredded. |
| THE COLOR of MULCH |
| |
Aging Mulch outside in large piles darkens in color. After spreading, all Mulches lighten due to the bleaching effect of the sun. Mulches which are high in 'wood' (inside part of the tree) bleach faster and become lighter than do bark or root mulches. |
